TvNetwork Distributed Switch (vDS), a new type of virtual switch introduced since vSphere 4, is an attractive technology that simplifies virtual networking management significantly.
This session will cover several advanced topics that describe technical details of managing and troubleshooting vDS. The covered topics are: 1) The architecture and implementation details that is useful for managing and troubleshooting vDS. 2) The methods and tools that improve the vNetwork manageability, and how to use them to diagnose and solve configuration issues. 3) Challenges people have faced in the past and how to tackle them (there will be several demos).
