Designing Optimal Networks for Virtual Apps – Why It Makes All The Difference
A properly designed network can significantly improve your success in virtualizing production apps. The objective of this session is to provide you with practical techniques that will help you design your organization’s network architecture for optimal application delivery.
We will approach it from the perspective of both existing virtual environments whose needs are evolving and new virtualization projects. The session will cover fundamental techniques for leveraging layers 4-7 of the OSI network model to improve the deployment, scaling, migration, management and protection of virtual apps. We will also discuss advanced networking topics like managing apps across multiple data centers, long distance VMotion, automated network resource provisioning and cloud bursting.
