Deciphering the Thin Client Puzzle – View and Thin Client Technologies
With so many Thin Client offerings and PC repurposing solutions on the market it is difficult for customers to make a decision. There is a great deal of choice but that creates a great many questions. This session will seek to sort out the questions around thin client choices. Topics will include Thin Client OS selection, feature and functionality impact of thin client type.
We will dive into a technical discussion of protocol use and Thin Client choice. In addition to PCoIP and RDP we will look at RGS and ALP as protocol choices. We will also discuss the various PC repurposing solutions available that can make use of currently owned PCs as a viable technology choice that helps with the virtual desktop CapEx justification.
